Lives by a kaiju pond with big kaiju dreams! A cool kaiju demeanor may actually be a facade for a clumsy weenie of an axolotl.

    Mischievous creature: Zuki hides in/puppets a kaiju ZukiZilla themed backpack like a costume. When not causing trouble... Zuki likes to hang onto the back of Azu. Normal size is about the size of a cat or a backpack

    Rubber Duck Turtle Kaiju

    Nicknamed: Kamo Kamora (Kamo = meaning duck in Japanese) mixed with turtle like kaiju features.

    Favorite Kaiju: Gamera

    Very head empty duck (I mean it is a rubber duck)... just floats around the little pond. Sometimes plays around with Zuki.

MAJOR THEME FOR MASCOTS

Mascots are all very average things or animals with kaiju inspired features. Mascots should never be explicitly a certain existing kaiju but instead a nod to the kaiju (or inspired by).

Reality vs Fantasy

Depending on whether its a fantastical epic kaiju scene or real life normalcy. Mascots may appear different.

In normal or average scenarios the mascots may appear on a smaller/ more average size. For example: Zuki is about the size of a backpack or a cat. In fantastical epic kaiju situations the mascots may appear to be kaiju sized.

The LORE!

Lore is heavily community driven and ever evolving. Many of the existing pre-debut lore carries over from streams on IRL cosplay page Mangoloo Cosplays

A small axolotl who lives by a pond - who has kaiju sized ambitions. Dreams of being as cool as giant sized monsters such as Godzilla.

Ducks are a huge part of the lore!

Specifically Kamora (Kamo) the Rubber Duck turtle kaiju. Represents individual community members! The rubber duck theme started after playing Placid Plastic Duck Simulatorover on the cosplay streams. A deep lore with the community was formed from little rubber ducks. One of the streams can be found HERE

Fun Fact: It was during a Placid Plastic Duck stream back in early summer 2025 that we decided as a community what type of vtuber Azu would be: a Kaiju Axolotl. The very existence of Azu was only made possible with the help from the community as a whole!

Kaiju Dreams (is Azu delusional?) - Fantasy vs Reality

In reality everything around Azu is very normal (example: the mascots all being very average normal animals or objects at a small average scale). Azu herself is also very much so an axolotl and possess a lot of non-kaiju traits (small 5' 5", wimpy). She is a kaiju otaku and everything about her is very opposite of a typical kaiju even when it comes down to the mascots.

While reality is average - her fantasies are larger than life. She fantasizes about giant kaijus (specifically the mascots). Which is why there's epic scenarios featuring 'kaijus' from her reality inspired by her fantasies.
